Generating green hydrogen on a utility-scale is the key to reducing its cost. Next Hydrogen water electrolyzers are designed to generate large-scale hydrogen efficiently and economically.
Producing hydrogen on site provides an alternative to expensive long-term agreements with merchant gas companies. However, getting to high MW scale is often expensive — and often not possible without multiple units.
The cost of hydrogen is reduced in a number of ways. Our containerized format decreases permitting and erection costs and our electrolyzers are smaller and more compact and come pre-assembled and ready to install; there’s no time-consuming build-outs, adding to their cost-effectiveness.
The module is pressurized (10 barg), reducing downstream compression and drying costs. The innovative cell module exploits low-cost sources of energy, including renewables, while capturing the entire output range, even when it’s intermittent.
Each single unit can handle up to 2.5 MW and multiple units can handle up to hundreds of MW.
